Tomita’s type of girl?

Ever wondered what kind of girls Tomita Hiroyuki likes? I don’t doubt you did. But don’t have to torture your brains anymore, here’s the mystery solved for you.

After the Beijing Olympics some interviews, with Tomita-san as a special guest, were broadcasted. Check this out:

Here Tomita is being asked about marriage and the type of girls he prefers. As you might heard from the video, his answer was fast and clear:

“Kitagawa Keiko-san”

Kitagawa Keiko is a Japanese actress and former model. She’s 22, and she became famous with her role in The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift.

She’s a student of Meiji University, studying Commercial Science.

She describes herself as a stay-at-home person, and likes watching DVDs, listening to music, and reading books. When asked what she would do if the world was going to end tomorrow, she said “read books”. She also likes swimming, particularly backstroke. She has a pet (male) cat, called Jill.

  1. oh NOOOO ana! i mean, i’m happy that tomita-san is very sure of the type of girl he likes, but… well… no matter what name he mentions i would still think that she’s not good enough for him…
    and i’ve never thought of an actress as tomita’s partner. i’ve always imagined that he likes the type of kind, quiet girl who stays at home and cooks for him… well this world is changing. no wonder tomita likes more outgoing girls.
    of course i know this is only an example given by him, and its not that he’s really in love with her or something. but i just CAN’T get it off my mind

  2. I know how you feel, this came like a shock to me too. I just hope he gave her as an example for her looks only… She’s pretty, but as you said she’s an actress, she is never at home! She won’t dedicate enough time for him! But Tomita-san deserves the best, so I actually would expect more.
    All this made me wonder, maybe we’ve made a wrong impression abut Tomita-san. Maybe he’s not that shy as we all thought. He could be outgoing and funny and….I don’t know…
    Or maybe because he’s shy he’d like to have such an outgoing girl.

    Imagine how would we react when we’ll find out he’s getting married :D
    Whoever he chooses, I just hope he’ll be happy!

  3. OMG ana! please don’t tell me bout this marriage thing! i’m going to start university next week, and i can’t pay attention to ANYTHING now cos i’m sooooo busy thinking bout him
    and if you ask me, i think she look prettier in the front page of her blog (the one we saw in hiro-koh) than this pic. somehow she looks older, more matured, more womanly now (in the above pic)… you know how some japanese men prefer kawaii girls rather than tall, beautiful and sexy women? i’ve always hoped tomita-san likes this kawaii type, but it seems like i could be wrong. oh gosh (tearing hair) i can’t get this out of my mind

  7. Well she looks different from picture to picture…by that I mean she doesn’t look that great in every picture. I hope this doesn’t mean he is all about looks…even though he could have picked someone prettier…he is like the hottest guy on the planet.

    Actually the last year’s Miss World was from Japan, I think… She can be a match for him..

    But it’s not all about the looks… as long as he’s happy with the girl he chooses, even if she isn’t a beauty queen… I’ll also be happy!

    anyway… we’re all getting rather busy since tomita mentioned miss kitagawa :D i’ve also been thinking bout this, but in the end it is tomita-san who will choose, we just hope for his best ~

    btw ana, i’m off to uni tomorrow… i won’t be able to see tomita-san for three weeks (argh!!!!!) i opted to go to a chinese private uni because well, as you know the national universities are all very, very competitive, i can’t stand that…

    i’m just glad that i’m able to online today on kohei’s birthday ^^

  10. Yeah…its so odd thinking of Kohei getting older…he is too cute. BUT…the topic is about Tomita…so back to the point.

    It just seems so out of the blue that he would mention her…but at least this gives us a clue that says “Hey. The man knows what he wants.” which isn’t bad.

    Its just odd that Tomita would be so striaght forward about love/his love life. HMM, confusing much.

  11. Oh yes it’s very confusing!
    We always thought that he’s the shy type that almost never talks and here… BANG… out of the blue he even mentions a name!
    If someone else like Kohei for example would’ve said a name, it seamed more natural, normal… IDK
    But Tomita-san… it was quite a shock!

  20. I’m not saying that he doesn’t like Westerns. I’m almost sure he does. Bigger breasts, nice body shape…He’s a man after all ;)
    It’s just I doubt he’d have a serious relationship with someone other than Japanese.

    I think so much about him, I even dreamed him last night! In the dream he appeared out of nowhere in my town, and I bumped on him on the street! I came closer to him and hugged him! OMG such a nice feeling! I even feel it now! A warm, nice hug… and I’m a happy person!

  22. For me it was the first time when I could touch him in my dream! I wish I could have such dreams more often!
    If he’ll read our words I’m sure he’ll be somehow amused but still like it!
    He’ll probably have a sweet smile that can melt every girl’s heart, and sigh a little… “Again…”

    Do you imagine how many girls like we here are thinking the same about him???

  23. yes, but he is not an unanimity..of course. I love him because I like Japanese men, and in Brazil there are many many, but nobody like Tomita..
    I daydream about him every day, I dream about him every night, and all theses dreams I can touch him, I have no words for describing this sensation…(sorry for my English, poor English) [:(]

  24. I don’t understand the persons that don’t like Tomita! I asked my Japanese Teacher about him and she doesn’t even knows him, the other teacher said she never heard about him…
    Here in Moldova gymnastics are not popular at all and are very few persons that know about him…
    He’s so perfect! How can I not love him?

    I also like Japanese guys! unfortunately I only get to see them on tv. :( In my whole country live only 8 Japanese persons. So I’m hopeless….

    You’re so lucky to dream him so often! I also dream him, but i see him by far… and this first time was so special! I should sleep more, maybe I’ll dream of him more often!

I live in a country which is full of Japanese, I love them, but Tomita is the most handsome guy in the world, and he is so far away from me!! I have friends living in Japan, dekasseguis, and a friend of mine said that Tomita is too ugly, HORRIBLE. I couldn’t believe I had heard something like!!!And a French girl on Youtube didn’t know him too, I showed one of his videos and she said he is not handsome…GOD!!! [:(]

  26. Well you can’t argue about humans tastes! everybody has his own opinion…..BUT…
    He’s so hot and handsome! I love everything about him – his hair, his face, his eyes, his lips, his smile….I could go on and on!
    But most of all I like his way of being, he has some mystery that attracts me, his unlimited kindness, his ideals, his way of thinking!
    I could give him the Mr Universe title without even thinking! :D

  35. yup. i’m glad that tomita hasn’t well… got married or anything during my 3 weeks absence. to think that i come home only to find that he’s already with a girlfriend, or married, or whatever, i’d just die! are there any updates on this tomita- keiko kitagawa thing? he didn’t mention her anymore, does he? (argh!!!)

    its perfectly normal to well… think like how a man does :D bout the breasts thing haha! just imagine if we’re in tomita’s place, how would we think? actually i shouldn’t be too surprised if someday tomita announces that he’s already got a secret gf or something like that. since we know that he likes to keep a low profile. and to think how we fans would react! i feel kinda sorry for the woman (if there is any, that is) but to be able to have tomita…
